(AP) ? Republican Mitt Romney fought Saturday to prove he is the strongest challenger to President Barack Obama, an increasingly difficult task given the tight race in his native state of Michigan against surging conservative Rick Santorum.

In the final weekend of campaigning before Tuesday's Michigan and Arizona primaries, Romney focused on central and southeast Michigan's urban and industrial centers in hopes of pulling ahead of Santorum.

With a Michigan victory, Santorum could solidify his place as a real threat to Romney heading into Super Tuesday, the 10-state sweepstakes on March 6. Santorum's victories so far have come in lower-turnout party caucuses.

While Romney kept most of his attention on the Democratic incumbent, he also worked to lay doubt about the core principles of his lightly funded main GOP rival.

Romney is the one facing stubborn doubts from some conservatives for his changed positions on social issues, but he tried to portray Santorum, a former Pennsylvania senator, as a Washington insider with cracks in his own conservative credentials. Santorum called such criticism "laughable" and said Michigan, where Romney was born and raised and his father was governor, was winnable.

A crowd in Lansing heard Romney accuse Santorum of caving to party leaders on issues he opposed, including financing Planned Parenthood.

"This is not time for lifelong pols who explain why they voted for this or that based on what they were asked to do by their fellow colleagues," Romney told about 300 activists gathered for breakfast at a country club. "I will be a president of principle."

Later in Flint, he declared himself a Washington, D.C., outsider and implied Santorum, a former Pennsylvania senator, is an insider: "I don't have any political payoffs I have to make."

Romney tried to undermine Santorum's profile as an abortion opponent by noting Santorum's backing in 1996 of fellow Pennsylvanian Arlen Specter in the GOP presidential race. "He supported the pro-choice candidate," Romney told more than 2,000 at a forum in Troy put on by a tea party umbrella group. Santorum spoke to the group, Americans for Prosperity, earlier Saturday.

Santorum, who has portrayed himself as a loyal conservative and is popular among evangelical conservatives, ridiculed Romney's claims.

"It is absolutely laughable to have a liberal governor of Massachusetts suggest that I am not a conservative," Santorum said to cheers to the same group. "He repeatedly gets up and says all these things that he didn't do that he did do. Folks, this is an issue of trust."

The volleys over principle and loyalty punctuate the all-out two-man race in Michigan, leaving behind the two others in the field. Both candidates are spending heavily on television advertising, although the better-funded Romney was laying out more.

Texas Rep. Ron Paul is hardly a factor in Michigan but is airing advertisements criticizing Santorum, which aids Romney. Paul was campaigning in Oklahoma earlier Saturday before making a stop at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich was nowhere to be found in the state and has spent scant time in Arizona, which also holds its primary Tuesday.

Gingrich has acknowledged that he has no shot in Michigan or Arizona and has predicted Romney will win. Gingrich aides argue he stands to gain by Santorum or Romney coming out of Tuesday weaker.

Gingrich is betting heavily on Georgia, the state he represented in Congress, and a strong showing in Tennessee on March 6.

On Saturday Gingrich was in California for the state GOP convention. He forecast a drawn-out campaign that would give late-voting states a voice.

"There will not be any lockdown before we get to California," which holds its primary June 5, Gingrich said.

Romney campaigned across southern central and southeast Michigan, where his family name is familiar, and he reminded audiences of his ties to the state. Romney won the GOP primary here during his unsuccessful 2008 bid for the nomination.

In Lansing, the capital, Romney recalled his father's chilly winter inaugurals. Romney's wife, Ann, also born in Michigan, reminisced in introducing the candidate in Troy about growing up a Tigers baseball fan and working for her father's business in the Detroit suburb.

Polls show a dead heat between Romney and Santorum, who is playing up his family's blue-collar background as the grandson of a Pennsylvania coal-miner. "This race is close. This race is winnable. But you've got to want it," Santorum told tea party members in St. Clair Shores.

Romney's attacks are a potential problem for Santorum because he's based his candidacy on presenting himself as an uncompromising conservative, contrasting himself with Romney. The former Massachusetts governor has struggled at times to explain why he's changed his position on abortion and other issues.

Santorum compared the health care bill Romney signed in Massachusetts in 2006 with the one Obama signed in 2010. The federal program is wildly unpopular with conservatives.

"Are you going to vote for someone that says one thing one day anything else the next day that's necessary to win? Or are you going to vote for someone you trust?" Santorum asked the crowd in Troy.

Santorum later made a quick detour to Tennessee, a Super Tuesday state that's gotten much less attention, to speak at a tea party rally in a large church in Chattanooga.

In Tennessee, Santorum rebuked Romney for backing the Wall Street bailout. He acknowledged that he and Romney opposed the auto industry bailout, and said Romney was inconsistent.

"I didn't pick and choose based on who my friends are," Santorum said to loud applause. "These are the biggest issues of this race. And we need a candidate who isn't compromised on every single one of them."

Santorum called Obama "a snob" for saying every American child should be able to go to college.

"Why does Obama want everybody to go to college? So his liberal college professors can be indoctrinating people like he has," Santorum said, drawing a long ovation.

The Dangers of Drug Addiction In The United States | New Health ...

New Health And Fitness.Org - Health Information You Can Use

Drug obsession is a complicated disorder that will involve virtually every facet of a people functioning: in the family, at work and school, and in the neighborhood. Because of addictions intricacy and pervasive results, drug obsession treatment usually must involve many components. Some of those parts focus directly on the people drug taking; others, like employment coaching, focus on restoring the dependent individual to productive membership in the family and society, enabling her or him to experience the rewards associated with abstinence.

Treatment for drug abuse and addiction is delivered in numerous different settings using a spread of behavior and pharmacological approaches. In the United States, more than 13,000 specialised drug treatment facilities provide counseling, behavior treatment, medication, case management, and other sorts of services to folks with substance use disorders.

Together with specialised drug treatment facilities, substance abuse and addiction are treated in doctors offices and psychological fitness hospitals by a spread of providers, including advisors, doctors, psychiatric doctors, psychological specialists, nurses, and social workers. These employees can be found at a variety of local residential drug rehab treatment centers. Treatment is delivered in outpatient, inpatient, and residential settings. Although categorical treatment approaches regularly are linked with particular treatment settings, a variety of therapeutic interventions or services can be included in any particular setting.

Because drug abuse and addiction are major public health issues, a large bit of drug treatment is subsidized by local, State, and Federal governments. Private and employer-subsidized health plans also may provide coverage for treatment of addiction and its medical implications. Sadly, managed care has led to shorter average stays, while a historic lack of or insufficient coverage for drug abuse treatment has curtailed the amount of operational programs. The most recent passage of parity for insurance cover of mental well-being and drug use Problems will maybe improve this situation.

General Classes of Treatment Programs

Investigations into obsession treatment sometimes have classified programs into 1 or 2 general types or modalities. Treatment approaches and individual programs continue to evolve and diversify, and many programs today don't fit neatly into standard drug obsession treatment classifications.

Jason Hammond is a writer and analyst who is studying the effects of drug abuse among peers and families. He has written about topics covering drug and alcohol rehab centers and abuse. Additionally, he studies the positive results of drug addicts attending drug rehab treatment facilities.

Movies Are Much More Than A Source Of Entertainment

Watching movies is probably one of the best ways to unwind yourself in your leisure. You have oodles of genres of movies to choose from. People who have a flair for action and super hero subjects can enjoy the stunning action sequences by watching the action blockbusters. The battle between the good guy and the bad guy or the gangsters adds spark to the action sequences. The hero is normally well-versed in any form of fight like martial arts, sword fight etc. Thus the stunt sequences are the highlighting things about the action movies. Adventure movies come in exciting stories in full-fledged movies or as a series. What really makes the adventure movies all the more exciting is the backdrop. Some are pictured in desert background while some are filmed in a jungle background. So this is one interesting thing that captures the attention of the audience especially the little ones.

Comedy movies are the kind of movies that people in all age groups love to watch.

They perfectly suit the entertainment-hungry taste buds of the light-hearted people. However even comedy movies come in different subjects. For example, some of them come in comic stories which obviously captivate the attention of the kids and school students. The next set of comedy is the one that comes with a bit of adult content in it. They adult content may be just passing-comments or adult scenes. The adult comedy movies are meant particularly for the teenagers and the middle-aged people. The next subject is the general comedy movies without any kind of adult content. They are perfect for family-gatherings. They can be viewed by people in all age groups. Moreover there are other subjects like the slapstick comedy, romantic comedy, action comedy, black comedy etc.

The next genre of movie is the ones that entail crime stories.

These kinds of movies may either be reel or real-life based incidents. These stories generally have a criminal spearheading a gang to rob expensive things from the bank, stores, rich people?s house, historic places like museums etc. The most interesting plot is the ones that have a criminal investigation department fuelling the places where things had been stolen. With all the evidences they have like the handprints, footprints or any object dropped by the gangsters, they try and figure out their hideouts. Like in a majority of the movies, the police department or the criminal investigation department with their experiences and skill combined with their intelligence find out the gangsters and recover the stolen things from their hideouts.

The next genre is the spooky horror movies. A lot of people have a penchant for the horror movies. These kinds of movies are not for the light-hearted people. The main purpose of the horror movies that were filmed as early as 80 years back all boils down to invoking the fear and frightening mood of the audience. However, from a critic point of view, I would say that the horror movies do no good to the people. They only make people scared and afraid of the dark. In fact, none of the horror movies have a positive influence on the minds of the people. They instill negative and misleading thoughts in the minds of the audience. There are different subjects of horror movies. Some are fiction-based while some are fantasy-based and some of them are based on the real spooky experiences of the people. One such movie recently kind of mesmerized the audience is the paranormal activities which was filmed on a simple handy cab. All the sequences filmed were supposedly real. So, there are oodles of genres to choose from. You can watch your favorite genre of movies using any of the popular cable services such as the Charter Cable and enjoy your leisure with your loved ones.

Professor Stephen Sheppard will present at the symposium Beyond Climate Models: Rethinking How to Envision the Future with Climate Change Friday, February 17, 1:30-4:30 p.m. at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) conference in Vancouver.

"The latest research from the University of British Columbia and around the world strongly suggests that new visualization media, appropriately used, can be more effective than conventional scientific communications in engaging, informing and motivating people," says Sheppard. "Using pictures supported by models and data can make the future with climate change and its solutions more real, more compelling, and more connected to people's lives where they care the mostin their local communities."

N.B. Sheppard's seminar, titled Beyond Climate Models: Rethinking How to Envision the Future with Climate Change, is at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17 at the Vancouver Convention Centre in Room 205-207.

Photos of Sheppard are available at: http://www.aaas.ubc.ca/media-resources/photos/. A video of Sheppard is available at: http://www.aaas.ubc.ca/media-resources/videos/.

Sheppard's talk focuses on this new method of communicating climate change with peoplefrom a local to a global scaleand what the benefits, risks and dilemmas of using such techniques might be.

"Powerful visual media that go beyond climate models are not yet widely used, but could potentially be misleading or misused. What could make a big difference would be for a respected organization such as the AAAS to adopt a code of conduct and encourage new curricula and training centres, to promote the balanced use of science-based visualizations in planning for climate change," says Sheppard.

The symposium, organized by Sheppard and post-doctoral fellow Olaf Schroth, will be moderated by UBC professor and IPCC Nobel Prize-winner John Robinson. It will feature three other IPCC/Nobel Prize-winners including Mike Hulme, a professor from University of East Anglia, debating with visualization experts how to move beyond the limitations of climate science. The discussions will be informed by animated visual demonstrations and the latest research findings.

Extensively involved in research with local communities, Sheppard directs UBC's Collaborative for Advanced Landscape Planning (CALP). His forthcoming book, Visualizing Climate Change, will be released in March. Recently Sheppard oversaw the design of the BC Hydro Theatre, a visual 'decision theatre' in the new Centre for Interactive Research on Sustainability at UBC. The theatre is a large space equipped with the newest imaging technologies that researchers and communities can use to explore future sustainability options. Some of the other visual media that could connect people to climate change includes 3D visualization, virtual globes like Google Earth and serious video games.

This year marks the first time the AAAS Annual Meeting will be held in Canada since 1981. The 2012 meeting focus is on using the power of electronic communications and information resources to tackle the complex problems of the 21st century on a global scale through international multidisciplinary collaboration.

Are Birth Control Pills A Cure For Acne? | New Health and Fitness

New Health And Fitness.Org - Health Information You Can Use

Acne is a huge problem for numerous teenagers. They find it extremely embarrassing, uncomfortable and a source of mockery from bullies. However, acne is a hormonal difficulty and there is not much you are able to do about it except not encourage it to become any worse by trying to reduce the amount of oil on the affected area.

However, it has been found that the hormonal imbalance can sometimes become corrected in girls if they take the birth control pill. This is not an ideal answer because the long term use of birth control pills can also bring its own worries with it. The option is not accessible to boys though, so do not even think about it.

It would depend on the birth control pills ? what they contain, so you would need to seek the advice of a GP after trying the normal remedies for acne. The first thing to try is to tie your hair back so that the oil in your hair does not get onto your skin. Next, you should replace your pillow cases frequently, very frequently because they will get covered in oil too.

Wear clothes that do not have high collars, because these as well will collect oil and dirt and put them back into your skin. If the acne is on your back, wear loose-fitting clothing for the same reason. Wash your face no more than usual ? three or four times a day but use natural soap without scent. Be cautious with make-up too. In fact, strive not to wear any.

If these fundamental precautions do not remove your acne, try an over-the-counter (OTC) remedy. OTC remedies range from antiseptic or / and antibiotic lotions and rinses to salycilic acid washes, all of which are safe and intended to remove the excess oil from your skin and kill the bacteria, which together with the oil cause the break-outs.

If you have come this far and nothing has helped, it is worth visiting your medical doctor concerning birth control pills. You would not be taking them for birth control, so he might advise you take a half tablet every two or three days or a quarter tablet a day ? just enough to reset your hormonal imbalance, not make you temporarily infertile.

In fact, doctors have been using birth control pills to help tackle acne for years, but it has been kept quiet for various reasons that anyone may imagine including the charge of encouraging promiscuity.

However, the pill not just reduces female hormones such as progestin and oestrogen, but also the male hormone testosterone, which can be accountable for more acne.

Other birth control pills reduce progesterone, which will reduce the androgen hormones, which in turn might reduce the production of surplus oil. I have to saying ?may? and ?might? because only a GP can make a decision which is the best pill for you. Some women react badly to some pills and have to be taken off them completely or placed on a different type.

There are yet other birth control pills that prevent fertility in a completely different way, by increasing the degree of testosterone and so they might cause your body to produce even more acne and really bad acne may lead to acne scarring and that is the last thing you would like all over your face.

Owen Jones, the author of this piece, writes on numerous topics, but is at present involved with salycilic acid acne treatment. If you have an interest in acne, please go over to our web site now at Treating Acne Scars

Selling A Commercial Property Does Not Have To Be Tedious ...

Dealing with commercial real estate is definitely exciting; however, it is usually a massive endeavor with many aspects that have to be approached properly. You may feel overwhelmed, or worry that you won?t be able to take care of all that you need to. Learning everything about commercial property ownership can be overwhelming, but the following article will help you get started.

Take tours of the properties that are potential purchases. Look into having a professional contractor accompany you as you take a look at the properties you?ve been thinking about purchasing. Make the preliminary proposals, and open the negotiating table. Make sure you evaluate any counteroffers well enough before you make any purchasing decisions.

Don?t purchase anything until you?re certain that the company you?re dealing with is looking out for your interests. Otherwise, you could end up having costly, but avoidable, consequences from your deal.

When looking for commercial real estate properties to house your business, keep in mind that size is among the biggest factors. Purchasing a larger space that can accommodate growth ensures that you are not forced to repeat the shopping process in the near future.

It?s likely that the property you buy will need some repairs and work before you move in. For example, you might neat to repaint or purchase new furniture. Sometimes a new business will need to alter the floor space by moving interior walls. Decide in advice who will be responsible for these things and try to get landlords or previous owners to pay for some of it.

Regarding commercial loans, it is the borrower?s responsibility to obtain an appraisal. The bank will disallow any appraisals ordered by other people. Make sure you have all your paperwork in order before you even apply for your loan.

The seller is required to disclose any information they know regarding any possible environmental hazards. For example, the previous property owners might not have disposed of hazardous waste appropriately. As owner of the property, you must be willing and able to address these concerns, regardless of whether you were directly responsible for them.

Commercial real estate has the potential to yield very high profits if you are willing to put in the work. You need to invest, not only a huge down payment, but also your precious time and effort to make sure your investment succeeds. To accomplish this, it would be wise to use the advice in this article.

Selecting Junk Food That is Fine For You | New Health and Fitness

New Health And Fitness.Org - Health Information You Can Use

Pretty much every single ?get healthy? and ?weight loss? posting you read will tell you to pass on the drive thru and make all your meals yourself. There?s some worth to that. From time to time, though, the very last thing you choose is to have to cook meals from the start. Once in a while you simply want to pay a trip to the drive through while you're on your way home and finish the day. Why don't you have the ability to do this from time to time and not have a bunch of guilt about slipping up on your diet plan? You're able to do that because masses of the popular joints are now advertising ?healthy? menu alternatives to keep their firms up. Here is how to eat healthfully when you visit the drive thru.

Go with the side plates. It was not too long back that French Fries were your sole side plate option at a trattoria. Now lots of the junk food selections have been widened a great deal. There are several salads around now. Chili is another selection. Baked potatoes can also be ordered. You could get fruit. There are loads of healthy options that don't include stuff like putting something deep fried into your body. When you get your meal through a drive through window, select small plates instead of just grabbing something premade. This has made it eminently possible for you to keep the calorie count low and lower your fat intake.

Choose water, juice or milk as a drink. Choosing a large softdrink as your libation contributes tons of unhealthy calories to your meal. A sole serving of soda is typically considered to be eight oz.. Those eight oz. are frequently at least 100 calories and close to ten spoons of sugar. A junk food soft drink is commonly not less than 20 ounces. Thirty oz , however , is far more common. This is why just buying a soft drink will add cupfulls of sugar and thousands of empty calories to your dieting program. It is much fitter to select milk, juice or perhaps normal water.

Visit a drive through for a place who has made it a practice to deliver fitter options to people. Arby?s as an example, isn?t going to provide burgers. As an alternative the options include stuff like roast beef and chicken sandwiches, wraps and enormous salads. While Wendy?s has made hamburgers for years, additionally they have a few other healthy options like salads, baked potatoes and chili. Most fast food eating places will not stoop to the unhealthy lows seen at McDonalds. You can try healthier choices like Lucas Candy

Traditional logic tells us that one positive method to get healthy and shed fat is to drop the drive through and to get rid of fast food cafes from your thoughts. Most of the time this is a good idea but if you make favorable choices, there's no reason you can?t visit your drive through once in a while. Regularly what you require most is just to have somebody else do the cooking. When you select healthy menu options, you do not have to feel bad about visiting the drive thru.

HV Food and Beverage Alliance gets going - Dowd on Drinks - Bill ...

? From Westfair Online

Combine dairy farmers, meat producers, vegetable growers, and beverage makers, sprinkle in some unique niche food businesses, toss with some packaging companies and distributors so each can find the ingredients it needs to work expeditiously, and you?ve created a winning recipe for harnessing the power of agri-business in the Hudson Valley.

That?s the goal of the new Hudson Valley Food and Beverage Alliance, which held its first roundtable at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park on February 2. More than 200 companies, economic leaders and home-grown food and drink purveyors attended the standing-room-only conference.

PepsiCo, Gillette Creamery, Crown Maple Syrup Farm, Tuthilltown Spirits and restaurateur Peter X. Kelly were just a few of the dozens of attendees representing Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester counties.

More People Need Training in Lifesaving Epinephrine Use, Advocates Say (HealthDay)

THURSDAY, Feb. 9 (HealthDay News) -- When Jane Able's 4-year-old daughter, Ellie, was diagnosed with a severe peanut allergy, the New Albany, Ohio, mother got trained in using an epinephrine pen and never leaves home without it.

The device contains an injectable dose of epinephrine, a hormone that can halt even life-threatening allergic reactions. But it's not only Able who needs to know how to use the device -- so do teachers, babysitters, even the parents of Ellie's friends.

"I carry a 'trainer pen' with me and have them practice using it before I'll leave her," Able said. "I take every precaution."

For the parents of kids with food allergies, the news of the death of 7-year-old Ammaria Johnson -- who died last month at her Chesterfield County, Va., elementary school after eating a peanut given to her by another child -- came as a heartbreaking reminder of how vigilant they need to be to keep their children safe.

Currently, it's up to parents to get a prescription for an epinephrine pen and make sure that one is available for their allergic child at school, although there's a movement to change that. The School Access to Emergency Epinephrine Act, introduced in the U.S. Senate in November and the U.S. House of Representatives in December 2011, would encourage states to allow schools to have epinephrine on hand for use in any student who is having a serious allergic reaction.

The law is supported by the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network. "Data shows that up to 25 percent of all epinephrine administrations that occur in the school setting involve students and adult staffers whose allergy was unknown at the time of the event," according to the food allergy network.

EpiPen is a brand name for a commonly carried epinephrine device. Some other brands include Adrenaclick and Adrenalin.

For reasons that are unclear, food allergies are on the rise. Nearly 6 million U.S. children -- or about one in 12 kids -- are allergic to at least one food, with peanuts, milk and shellfish topping the list of most common allergens, a study in the July 2011 issue of Pediatrics found.

Outside of clinical trials, there are no treatments for food allergies. So avoidance and education is the key to managing them, said Dr. Roger Friedman, a pediatric allergist and clinical professor of pediatrics and allergy at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

That includes making sure parents carefully read food labels, that children know what foods to avoid, and that anyone who cares for the child takes no chances with baked goods or restaurant meals -- or any other food product about which they're not entirely sure what it contains.

"It's very important when we have children who have severe food allergies that all people who come into contact with the child and all caregivers understand the potential severity of it," Friedman said.

Anaphylaxis is a systemic, or whole-body, reaction. Symptoms can come on within seconds or minutes, and worsen quickly. Symptoms can include abdominal pain and vomiting; wheezing, swelling of the lips, face and throat; difficulty swallowing; hives, itchiness and coughing. These symptoms can progress to a drop in blood pressure, an abnormal heart rhythm and even death.

"Epinephrine can't always stop a reaction, but it's darn good," Friedman said. "It's going to increase the chances dramatically of surviving a reaction."

Because repeat doses may be necessary to stop a reaction, it's recommended people with allergies carry two epinephrine auto-injectors at all times.

It's also important not to delay using an epinephrine pen if anaphylaxis is suspected, Friedman said. The longer a reaction continues, the harder it can be to stop.

However, many parents worry about whether they could actually use an epinephrine pen if needed. Epinephrine pens contain a short, thick needle strong enough to go through clothing, although it's recommended that you expose the skin of the thigh if possible.

No one likes the idea of jabbing their child, and if a child is having trouble breathing, it's easy to fear panicking instead of taking action, Able said.

"I've never had to use an EpiPen, but for my daughter's sake, I've run it over a thousand times in my head. If there ever was a reason to do it, I hope I could," Able said.

Some people also worry about harming a child if it turns out the epinephrine wasn't really needed. But epinephrine pens are safe and may cause a temporarily fast heart rate; that's about it, Friedman said.

That's one message Able tries to make sure her friends and relatives understand when she hands them her daughter's epinephrine pen.

"I always stress, 'Even if there is a suspicion she needs it, please give it. Don't hesitate. I will never be mad if you give the shot,' " Able said. "You can't hurt a child by giving that dose of epinephrine. But the consequences for not doing it could be fatal."

Funds Matrix Review 2?2 Abundance Formula ? Juicy ... - moouofa's ...

Prosperity comes if you work the legal guidelines of increase. The covenant is usually the sure access that will wealth and money because no induce in hell are designed for the covenant. Before I can speak, the old man knew i needed help not to mention in what component I needed aid. Along with your house, I lost couple of beautiful step-children, my car, my job along with all sense for security. For sure, prosperity will only get to people who utilise their minds prudently.

Changing our focus and developing my success principles magically transformed living. It is simple prosperity consciousness after we put it for the reason that context, but something occurs when we view it in the situation of prosperity. If you ever wanted a way to change your daily life, then this has it been. It is uncanny exactly how this works, but it in fact happens. It makes you loved by people around people and brings favors through your boss. Which means that prosperity affirmation can grow with the imagination as you actually grow.

As you could have seen network marketing is ways to ?Get ?er done?. You also become stressed in what you see with the media and the things you lack depending on the media. It is easy develop prosperity prayers find out how to get it done. Perhaps this affirmation should really be ?I am dedicated to God in addition to respectful of people?. Send out an announcement for a subscribers fast. Just think with the presence of the greater Spirit in you yet others.

Many are desperately aiming to live a everyday life of happiness, wealth and achieving success. I had very little formal education and incredibly low self-esteem. Now you can be quite a Christian, but not be required to deny self from now on. The electromagnetic energy of that exuberant, open attitude definitely will attract magic, meaning and funds into your environment.

For the particular Bible says, ?The blessing within the LORD, it maketh abundant, and he addeth hardly any sorrow with it?. And I get even made friends outside of some local utility company support service reps. Understand your recent money programming: You won?t manage to enhance your financial picture if you can?t exhume some serious seated subconscious computer programming or learned patterns that surrounds funds. Gaining extra prosperity gets a ?should? for most people who want to start on a plan in Self Improvement. And remember everyone wishes to begin manifesting abundance; however it is definitely the start that stops plenty of people so stay optimistic and always keep an eye on your point for view. You therefore needs to endure hardship being a good soldier from Jesus Christ.

Planning entails goal setting, so keep that organized likewise. You cannot clearly define wealth or money in the manner that anyone else has regarding priorities are not necessarily your priorities. Now that that you?re noticing your ideas, both audible along with inaudible, now is plenty of time to create and supplement which you use in any powerful way. He has fortunate us, not that He will probably bless us. There are an abundance of success stories while in the MLM industry, but the majority of marketing ?gurus? who seem to started from scratch had to pass through years of problems before becoming recognized. These rules might be practiced by anybody to quickly attain a significant amount of success and lead a booming life forever.

Insight: In Sudan, glimpses of an Arab spring (Reuters)

KHARTOUM (Reuters) ? A few weeks ago, a leading opposition activist sat down in a downtown Khartoum office to talk to a journalist. The young man immediately removed the battery from his cellphone.

"It's so they can't trace you," he said, placing the battery and the phone on the table. "Any one of the security agencies spread throughout the country can arrest you."

Despite that danger, the activist, from an underground group called "Change Now", said he was convinced Sudan is on the brink of its own Arab Spring uprising.

Hard times and growing frustration with the two-decades-old government of President Omar Hassan al-Bashir have sparked small protests in Khartoum and other university cities in the Arab-African state.

The demonstrations are still tiny compared with those that shook Egypt and Libya. Sometimes about 30 people show up, hold banners denouncing the government for a couple of minutes, and then melt away before security agents arrive. But the demonstrations have become more frequent in the past few months and the question is, could they lead to something bigger?

The main economic challenge is plain. When South Sudan seceded from the north last year, Khartoum lost about three-quarters of its oil, the main source of state revenues and hard currency. The Sudanese pound has slumped by as much as 70 percent below the official rate. Annual inflation is at 18 percent as the cost of food imports has shot up. Wars against insurgencies in different parts of the still-vast country have also soaked up government funds.

In 1985, protests against food inflation toppled President Jaafar Nimeiri in some 10 days. But the government in Khartoum today says the economy is not nearly as bad as it was in the 1980s, when people had to queue for days to get rationed petrol or food. Sudan, it says, will not follow Egypt or Tunisia.

Rabie Abdelati, a senior official in the information ministry and Bashir's National Congress Party (NCP), said that the economy was much better than in 1989 when Bashir came to power.

"The situation at that time was very terrible," he said. "The government has the ability to overcome all obstacles."

A relaxed-looking Bashir, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court for war crimes, spoke on state television for almost two hours last week to assure the population that the economic situation was under control.

"We have a 3-year economic program (but) this year will be the most difficult," the president said.

"IT WAS LIKE ANGER ERUPTED"

On the surface, life in the capital looks normal. Construction cranes loom on the banks of the Nile, working on new buildings and roads. The city bustles with foreign workers, maids and hotel staff.

But there are sporadic signs that public anger is rising.

In the last week of December, authorities temporarily closed the University of Khartoum after villagers displaced by a huge hydro-electric dam staged a protest, inspiring a week of some of the biggest student demonstrations in years. Weeks later, the spray-painted graffiti calling for "revolution" still covered a few walls near the university.

"Most people didn't care about the first demonstration as we were all in exams mode," said a female computer technology student who took part.

But when police came to the dormitories one night to detain some students, "it turned into a protest not just against the dam but against poverty, inflation and the bad situation for students," said the woman, playing with her blue head scarf.

"It was like anger erupted," she added. "Now they want to punish us by closing the university, but it will make things worse. We don't get jobs after graduation. Life is so expensive, people are very angry."

Abdelati, the information ministry official, said the protests were small and the university would reopen shortly.

OIL AND CONFLICTS

Sitting in front of a small metal workshop in downtown Khartoum, Sudanese construction worker Fateh Totu takes his time to recall when he last worked for longer than a week. At the moment he gets jobs for a couple of days, with sometimes a week in between.

"Three, four years ago life was much better. The country was in good shape. Construction work was good," Totu said, drawing nods from fellow workers sitting on small plastic chairs along a dusty road.

South Sudan's independence deprived Sudan - a country of 32 million people - of around 350,000 barrels per day (bpd) of the roughly 500,000 it pumped. Since then, oil exports, which made up 90 percent of Sudan's total exports, have fallen to zero.

The remaining output in the north of around 115,000 bpd serves only domestic consumption.

Industry insiders doubt significant new reserves will be found. But Azhari Abdallah, a senior oil official, said production would rise this year to 180,000 bpd, helped by more efficient technology and recovery rates.

Other officials are less optimistic. Central bank governor Mohamed Kheir al-Zubeir has asked fellow Arab countries to deposit $4 billion with the central bank and commercial lenders to stabilize the economy. Finance Minister Ali Mahmoud said in September Sudan might need $1.5 billion in foreign aid annually.

"The state spends a vast proportion of available resources on the security services. With three conflicts ongoing, the military's claim on the national treasury is only growing," said Aly Verjee, an analyst at the Rift Valley Institute. "While some austerity measures have been implemented, there is a general unwillingness in the government to take any step that might lead to popular discontent."

Landlocked South Sudan must pump its oil through Sudan to the Red Sea. Northern officials hope the transit fees they charges will help. But a deal has been elusive - oil analysts say Khartoum has demanded a transit fee more than 10 times the international standard - and the breakaway state has so far refused to pay.

Khartoum has seized oil awaiting shipment to compensate for what it argues are unpaid fees. Industry sources say the north has sold at least one shipment of southern oil. In protest, South Sudan has shut down production.

OUTLOOK: "STABLE"

How to find new revenues? Khartoum expects to have exported $3 billion of gold in 2011 plus another $1 billion of other minerals. Mining workers say the real figures are less than a third of that.

"Only 7 of the 70 projected tonnes of gold output for 2011 come from regular mines," said a foreign mining executive who declined to be named. "The rest is produced by gold seekers whose output is very hard to verify, and often ends up being smuggled abroad."

The government predicts 2 percent growth in 2012 but the International Monetary Fund (IMF) thinks the economy will contract. A senior Sudanese analyst with ties to the government says food inflation is much higher than the official figure. Prices for meat, sugar, vegetable oil and other staples are doubling every year, according to the analyst, who asked not to be named.

Customs officials at Khartoum airport now search almost every piece of luggage brought into the country, hoping to find a laptop or other electric device on which they can charge duties.

Khartoum had long known the South would secede, but did little to diversify its economy away from oil, bankers say. Just days after South Sudan became independent last July, Sudan's parliament, which is controlled by Bashir's National Congress Party (NCP), passed a budget predicting stable oil revenues.

"They just thought it would continue like that," said a senior banker in Khartoum who declined to be named. "That's why I doubt they now have a plan to turn the economy around."

Harry Verhoeven, a researcher at the University of Oxford who has studied Sudan extensively, said Khartoum had used its oil revenues for large, expensive projects such as the Merowe dam that sparked December's protest.

ISOLATED

Since the united States imposed a trade embargo on Sudan in 1997, most Western firms have shunned the country. The ongoing domestic insurgencies and the International Criminal Court's indictment of Bashir mean that's unlikely to end any time soon.

That leaves Khartoum reliant on China, its biggest trading partner, and Gulf Arab states. But no substantial aid or loans have been announced yet apart from small development programs.

At an Arab investment conference in December, prominent Saudi businessman Sheikh Saleh Kamal slammed Sudan's taxation, investment, land and work laws.

"I said it already in the '90s but I repeat it again since nothing has changed," said Kamal, head of Islamic lender Al-Baraka Banking Group and the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry. "The investment climate in Sudan does not help to attract any investments."

MIXED MESSAGES

Despite the growing problems, organizing protests isn't easy. Power cuts, unreliable cell phone networks and low internet usage make it hard to mobilize people through Facebook or Twitter as happened in Egypt.

Activists are trying to link up with groups such as the people displaced by the Merowe dam, or poor farmers.

Many are frustrated with the inconsistent and ineffectual opposition parties, most of which are run by former rulers in their 70s. Activists say the main opposition party, the Umma Party, is unwilling to call for mass protests. The party's veteran chairman Sadeq al-Mahdi recently said he wanted the president to go. But his son just became a presidential assistant in Bashir's office. The leaders of another big opposition party have decided to join the government.

For the female computer technology student, the only way is out.

"I'm just tired of Sudanese politics. I think there will be a revolution, but nothing will change. We will have the same people," she said.

"I just want to leave Sudan. I don't see any job prospects here. I think 90 percent of students want to leave Sudan."
